About Geography
Become a Geographer
Are you curious about places? Do you see connections among seemingly unrelated processes? Are you interested in how people impact & are impacted by the environment? Are you a problem solver? Do you like to work outside? Do you enjoy maps? Is getting lost an excuse for an unplanned field trip? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may have a bright future in Geography.
Geography is the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments. We seek to understand where things are found, why they are there, and how they develop and change over time.
