Timekeeper Resources

As of August 2023, all campus departments move to the new online system to report hours worked. View an for the campus rollout.

  • At the end of each day worked, hourly employees will “Report Hours Worked” through
  • At least weekly, timesheet approvers will “Approve Reported Hours” through or communicate any corrections that employees need to enter.

Need Help?

  • Contact your Department timekeeper or approver, for:
    • Job Record Numbers or Department IDs
    • Timesheet corrections
    • General questions about timesheets, hours worked and deadlines
    • CARS Requests to request eTime Approver access (Note: Ensure you are current with )
  • Department timekeepers can elevate unresolved issues to the Payroll Office
  • IRT Support and Consultation, for:
    • Open Chat during office hours for help with access issues
    • Search "Find Answers" with keywords, such as Payroll, Approver, Overtime
    • How to reset password
    • Login with Duo

Why Online Timesheets?

  • To improve accurate and timely pay
  • Why now? It’s long overdue! It’s about time for a paperless process that is sustainable, available remotely, and transparent to employees and approvers
  • What if we don’t? Paper process continues with inaccurate and delayed results
